Clemson University (FCA) Visits Good Seed Ministries for a project of Love.

Clemson University students affectionately called "The Fab 13" spent three days with Good Seed Minstries that was such a huge Blessing! We were grouped in teams and worked to clean up the community around the church, as well as paint the interior and exterior of the church facility. We spent time on the streets sharing the love of Jesus Christ, and feeding food to the poor while praying for them. We bonded so well with The fab 13, and miss them tremendously! We spent so much time getting to know each other, sharing our stories over lunch, and having some fun at US Cellular Field! We learned how to "Wobble" The South Carolina way!
The fab 13 was such a huge blessing to the Englewood community. They showed us what it really mean to be fully surrendered and engaged in kingdom building, they gave up their spring break to spend time in Chicago unselfishly to make a difference in the lives of many. We will be eternally grateful to Jed (JD), Brooke, Preston, Will (Da Bomb), Morgan, Stephen, Sam (Da Man), Caroline, Katilyn, Laura, Lauren ( Laura Lye), Jorie, and Austin ( Peaches)!
We are looking forward to visiting them in September in South Carolina.
Why i youth Conference 2012 was such a huge success! We were able to reach 68 children from the Englewood and surrounding area! The children were between the ages of 7 and 18. The children are still buzzing about it and sharing with others how the conference changed their lives. The Conference was a two day event, on the first day we took the children to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Lansing and held a all day event from 9 am to 5pm. The kids were taught abstinence, purity, and sex education through an organization called PASS. They were taught about bad choices from Pierre Robinson from House of Judah, and wise educational choices from Glenn D. Bone III of Good Seed Ministries. They were challanged with finding their purpose in life by Ms. Lutonya M. Lang from Rhema Word of Life, Industry Buzz.
They learned how to obtain success from Edric Calahan of Calahan Funeral Home and was entertained by Gospel rap artist John tha Baptist, and comedian Lady Lunchabell who just signed a contract as a new character of the Tyler Perry show! Chicago Family Health Center not only sponsored the event but also came out and set up a vendor table and was able to offer blood pressure check, BMI, etc. to parents and volunteers!
On the second day, the kids put on a production entitled "Youth Jam"
at Good Seed Ministries and shared their personal testimonies on how the conference impact their lives.
Words can not express our sincere thanks to our partners for their support in making the conference a huge success! Thank each of you for making the difference in the lives of Kids!
